Greek entrepreneur, software engineer and angel investor, Jon Vlachogiannis is best known for founding the tech company BUGSENSE, the European fund ZeroFund and the programming language Music-As-Data (MAD).
Jon founded his third company (BUGSENSE) with just $100K, drove it to profitability and made it the largest in the mobile big data space. In only two years, BUGSENSE was acquired by SPLUNK (NASDAQ: SPLK) giving a 17X return to the investors.
Co-Founder and CEO AgentRisk: Jon left SPLUNK and a 7-digit annual income to start AgentRisk - a hybrid automated investment platform which deploys non-speculative strategies, once only available to hedge funds but with lower fees, daily liquidity and no lockup periods.
Since 2009, Jon has been involved in various funded startups as a software architect and holds a number of patents in distributed real-time databases.
Was the first to deploy statistical arbitrage on the Ethereum blockchain.
Most recently, Jon along with four scientists and two US universities (University of Pennsylvania & University of Southern California) and the Greek Government; joined forces in a massive, once-in-a-lifetime project to build a machine-learning system, nicknamed “EVA”, to help keep people safe from COVID-19 and open new roads for data science.
